Apple announced its intention of closing the famous store of iTunes in early 2019.
Apple’s digital store has been substantially influencing the habits of consumers around the world, yet there has been a more than obvious drop in sales, according to journalists. By launching its own streaming service called Apple Music, they managed to successfully adapt to the recent change in the way of consuming music.
Apple’s streaming service will offer a three-month trial in which all songs that you’ve purchased by iTunes will be fully imported.
The launch of Apple Music most definitely created competition for other streaming platforms, in the likes of Soundcloud, YouTube and Spotify.
